Peaches and Cream Bars
Prep: 15 minutes Total Time: 65 minutes Serves: 12
If there is one food that I can’t wait to come in season in summer, it’s peach season.
And while you may want to eat your weight in fresh peaches, there is one recipe you will have to make every peach season.
They are super rich, buttery, and gooey, and a little bar goes a long way – but I love these things.
The buttery crust with the sweet peaches – this is my idea of taking advantage of peach season!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 stick (½ cup) butter, melted
1/3 cup sugar
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup white chocolate chips
5 peaches, pitted and cubed (about 4 cups)
2 Tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 stick (½ cup) butter, melted
1/3 cup sugar
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup white chocolate chips
5 peaches, pitted and cubed (about 4 cups)
2 Tablespoon all-purpose flour
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350, then line a 9" x 13" baking dish with parchment paper.
Mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until thoroughly combined.
Spread evenly across the bottom of the dish using the bottom of a measuring cup, and press the mixture down firmly to form the crust.
Spread the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the prepared crust.
In a mixing bowl, combine peaches, chocolate, and flour and toss until coated.
Sprinkle evenly over the top, then bake on the center rack of the oven for 45 minutes then remove and let cool.
For best results, refrigerate prior to cutting into bars and serving with your favorite topping. Enjoy!
