Halibut and Asparagus


For the asparagus

1 bunch fresh asparagus

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

3 cups water

For the halibut

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup butter, softened

3 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 tablespoons chopped green onions

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

A dash of pepper sauce

2 pounds halibut fillets

For the asparagus

Place water in the bottom half of a steamer pan set.
Add salt and butter, and bring to a boil.
Trim the dry ends off of the asparagus.
If the spears are thick, peel with a vegetable peeler.
Place them in the top half of the steamer pan set.
Steam for 5 to 10 minutes or until asparagus is tender.

For the halibut

Preheat the oven broiler.
Grease baking dish.
Mix Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, lemon juice, green onions, salt, and pepper sauce.
Put halibut fillets in baking dish.
Broil halibut fillets 8 minutes
Spread with Parmesan mixture,
Continue broiling 2 minutes, or until lightly browned.
