Grilled Salmon with Avocado Salsa

For the Salmon:

2 lbs salmon, cut into 4 portions

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp paprika powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp ancho chili powder

1 tsp black pepper

For the Avocado Salsa:

1 avocado, cubed

1/2 red onion, sliced or diced

2 limes, juiced

1 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped


For the Salmon:

Mix the salt, chili powder, cumin, paprika, onion, and black pepper together.

Then rub the salmon fillets with olive oil and the seasoning mix.

Refrigerate the salmon fillets for at least 30 minutes.

For the Avocado Salsa:

Chop the avocado, onion, and cilantro, and juice the lime then stir and chill until serving time.

Preheat your grill, then grill the salmon for 5 minutes.

Top the salmon with avocado salsa. Enjoy!
