Banana Bread French Toast


For the French Toasts

1 to 2 Bananas, massed

1 egg whites

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

4 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon cinnamon

4 teaspoon sugar

8 slices bread

For the Pecan Topping

4 teaspoon pecans, crushed

2 teaspoon coconut sugar

4 teaspoon butter

Powdered sugar for topping

For the French Toasts

Mix all French Toast ingredients in a bowl.

Dip bread (one at a time) into the egg mix, then flip and dip on the other side.

Coat a pan with oil or cooking spray and fry bread on low heat

Once browned on one side, flip gently.

When golden and cooked through, remove and place onto plate.

For the Pecan Topping

In the same pan, fry pecans, in butter and sugar until pecans are golden and crisp.

To serve, top two toast slices per person with powdered sugar, buttered pecans, banana slices and maple syrup. Enjoy!
