Apple Glazed Shortbread Cookies

Servings: 18 Cookies
Everyone will enjoy the light apple sweetness of these cookies. Yum!

Ingredients:
For the Cookies
1 cup butter (softened)
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbs Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider
A pinch of salt
2 1/2 cups flour
For the Glaze
1 cup Powdered Sugar
2 Tbs Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider
For the Cookies

For the Glaze
1 cup Powdered Sugar
2 Tbs Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375, then line a baking sheat with parchment paper.
For the Cookies
Mix butter, powdered sugar, and Cider.
Add salt and mix.
Then sift in flour, and mix for 2 minutes.
Using your hands, form a ball.
Roll it out on a smooth surface using a rolling pin until it is about 1/4" thick flat circle.
Use a round cookie cutter to form cookies.
Transfer cookies to your baking sheet.
Bake on an un-greased baking sheet for 6 minutes (do not brown).
Let cool on the pan 1 minute.
Move to a cooling rack to cool compleatle before glazing.
For the Glaze
Mix together glaze by whisking all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl.
Glaze cookies by spooning glaze over the top, then let cool until glaze firms up.
Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
