Lavender and Strawberry Cookies


1/2 Cup unsalted Butter, softened

2 Tablespoons Dried Lavender Buds

1/2 Cup Honey

1 Egg

2 teaspoons Vanilla

2 1/2 Cups Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

1 Cup fresh Strawberries, chopped

1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preheat your oven to 375, then line baking pans with parchment paper.

Whisk together flour and baking soda, then set aside.

In a bowl beat butter and lavender together.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl, add honey.

Cream together butter, lavender and honey until light and fluffy.

Add egg and vanilla, then beat well.

Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture and stir until almost completely combined.

Fold in chocolate chips and chopped strawberries until combined.

Drop by Tablespoons full onto prepared baking pans.

Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.

Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are golden.

Remove to cool on wire racks. Enjoy!
